I am glad it’s weekend again. Not because I don’t have to work, which actually was quite due to the fact that there is no more so much to deliver (check here why). For me the weekend means to do God’s work full-time. Not that I wouldn’t do that while working, but on the weekend [...]

Today they talked all day about the begin of the fasting season on the radio. Fasting season? Yes you read right! Here in Germany, as in most West European countries, keeping traditions is more important than to have a personal relationship with God. It is so sad that people believe, because they have been taught [...]

So by now some job applications are out and it’s time to wait. But with God waiting does not simply mean “doing nothing”. It means to trust in Him and to praise Him for who He is:
The Lord God Almighty
Waiting is the hardest part, so it says in a song. Yet with Jesus waiting is [...]

Today I checked out all jobs advertisements for delivery driver. As I expected (from the fitter search) the vast majority of them are from Time work agencies who just lend their worker to companies. Because of German work laws this is a big business here as it releases companies from the obligation to hire workers steady. [...]

I took tomorrow a day off so I have time to check for more jobs. Especially to make phone calls or even apply personally if needed. I might even meet with my former boss at his employment- finding office. He has two job opportunities for me already and is about to make some more connections. I [...]

God is good!
Just a brief update to encourage all who are unemployed.
There are already new doors in view. He will open one of them! He will not let me look behind them, I have to put all my trust and faith in Him alone. He knows what is best for me and my life because He [...]

God is good. I met with my former boss today. The one who has the Employment-finding agency.
Well, not really much to say, but he has already two job offerings for me; one as fitter and one as forklift-driver. Both with the same payment as I have now. And in any case he would also have jobs [...]

Here are briefly the latest developments on my job:
I’ll meet with my old boss on Monday. He is a believing Christian and has an agency for Employment-finding. He got me that delivery job 5 years ago.
Today we had a meeting at my present workplace where my bosses explained the situation to us. They stated that [...]

That will be most likely my last day as delivery driver for medical supplies.
Today my boss called me in his office to give me my cancelation. We sat together for a while and he explained to me that due to the “German healthcare reform” his business has shifted from a service oriented one to a shipping one. [...]
