I am working for two month now for my Christian boss and it has been a great time. On the days we work together, we have breakfast and prayer in the morning and then we work together as Christian brothers. We have fun and enjoy Gods presence!

Sometimes I jump in for one of his workers who got sick and so I meet new people at work for only a brief time of one or two days, but still God allows me to minister to them and offer them my help for the future. This help may seem small, but I’m sure it counts a lot to God. Like this week when my co-worker ask me if we could do a detour after work to pick up his girl friend at the train station so she doesn’t have to take the bus, which by the way is awful here. Well, that’s why God gave me a car!

So I try to make new friends and showing them that Jesus loves them. I am very thankful for this and many other things God is doing in my life. In other words; it feels good to do God’s work.

God is good! I just shipped the first toy order from my online-shop. That’s the cloud at the horizon. Please bear with me that this will give God glory & honor as He has blessed the work and efforts I put in this, only to His glory.

I am very thankful for this, as this is God’s work alone and I can and will only trust in Him to make straight path for my/His business. (Pro. 3:6)

As promised here an update on me becoming self employed. It actually is a longer story but here in short:

While working on construction I spent 12 – 14 hours a day out there and although I love construction work God had another plan. The idea to become self employed was put on my heart over a year ago but for the odds that one faces here in Germany when becoming self employed I was not pursuing it.

Well, God, of course had His ways and gave me te time to figure it all out and get a traders permit while being home sick with my bruised leg. So I quit that job as construction-worker to take care of my own business. Still, as anyone knows who got self employed, you don’t start making money immediately and so I needed a job that gives me time for my business and supports my livelihood.

Here is where my former and now again boss came in. As I had mentioned in other articles before, he is a newborn Christian and owns six companies including the employment agency. This man hired me as house technician for the buildings of his companies on a 25 hours per week contract. 

I already believed God would bless me becoming self employed but as we know Him, He always has more for us than we can imagine! My boss not only gives me the time to take care of my business, he also is helping me with great advices and takes time to sit with me to explain stuff like book keeping to me. Remember he owns six companies! And if that would not be enough blessings, one of my boss’s companies is doing book keeping and taxes for small (like mine) and medium sized businesses.

I am very thankful to God for He is blessing what I do in far more ways then I wrote about here today. Just one more example; God has made it possible for me to work together with the leading wholesale company for toys here in Europe which has its HQ just a half hour ride from my home.

As I believe this is God’s will and for the reason that it is my hearts desire to use what I do to benefit to God’s kingdom I trust that  His will in this will prevail. Although I do not know where or to what this will lead, all my trust and faith in in my Lord Jesus!

Honour the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops;  then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.  (Proverbs 3:9-10)

I am sorry for not posting for quite a while. Since becoming self employed was on my heart for over a year and because it is very difficult do start your own business here in Germany, I had to check out a lot of stuff about rules and regulations and especially the crazy tax laws of a country known for to have the worst tax system in the world.

Well, I finally made it to get a traders permit and now putting in a lot of my free time to develop my business. With God’s help I might one day make my livelihood out of that and then have the freedom to help people who asking for my help at the time when they need it and not having to schedule them for the weekend.  I also hope then I can help others even in more ways than I can now.

I will certainly keep you updated on this, but for the above reasons progress goes slow right now.

It’s a lazy Sunday afternoon with heavy rain. But only outside, because God is good! So I decided to fix me some food for the week ahead and then there are some books longing to be read.

 Besides that, I had a great week, my new job is going well and God’s work is already making some impact as my fellow workers asking me questions about my faith which I am glad to answer. Yes, God touches people, even construction worker.

This years Mothers day my mom and I had a special Bible study together and we cooked together a good meal for us. Will say my mom choose what she wanted to eat and I fixed it.

We had a great time having lunch, and so did Mohrchen, and then we enjoyed the sunshine in my mom’s backyard.

Well, what shall I say? Mom is the best, we are doing fine and are blessed.

Just because it is a lot of  fun and because we mostly install solar panels on farm roofs here some pics of me on top a farm building in northern Germany. It is quite interesting to see that those people, who’s business depends, since ancient times, for a great portion on the weather God provides, are those who make use of this new technology. I think this is worth to be thought of as it is God’s promise to provide all needs to those who trust in Him.

 He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant for ever. (Ps 11:,5)

Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy. (Ac 14:17)

On Monday I started in my new job as fitter for Photovoltaic arrangements. God is so good and I’m very thankful to him for giving me this job. For me, working on construction is big fun! In addition, building  Photovoltaic arrangements is a much future oriented job and even advantageous for the world climate. I think God is pleased with that as I, in some way, do what is good for the people with the work I do for my livelihood. Just as I helped people with their needs in my former job.

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, (Ga 6:10a)

Sure thing, working construction is a tough job and physically demanding. Therefore it was astounding for me to  find myself  being still in a good condition for this job after five years of truck driving and not doing much to keep myself fit. Well, I know therefore that God truly has giving me this job because He gives me the strength to do it. I am very thankful for that and can say with all my heart: “Hallelujah”.

So, yesterday was my last day as delivery driver! I drove my last tour and cleaned up my truck and then said goodbye to my bosses and my colleagues.

I also want to use this post to again express my thankfulness to my bosses and colleagues for five years of doing great jobs and having fun working together. I’ll keep you in my prayer! May God bless you!

Yes guys, without you, the job would have been only half the fun.

And here is my truck which has always served me well as we took on about 200.000 mls together.

Now, that was my last day in this job and on Monday I start the new job God has given me. So keep on checking out this place to see me on my new job as construction worker.
