On Monday I started in my new job as fitter for Photovoltaic arrangements. God is so good and I’m very thankful to him for giving me this job. For me, working on construction is big fun! In addition, building Photovoltaic arrangements is a much future oriented job and even advantageous for the world climate. I think God is pleased with [...]

So, yesterday was my last day as delivery driver! I drove my last tour and cleaned up my truck and then said goodbye to my bosses and my colleagues.
I also want to use this post to again express my thankfulness to my bosses and colleagues for five years of doing great jobs and having fun working together. [...]

Today, as my mom and I were on the road driving to visit my brother’s family we heard on the radio a report of the German Evangelical church. Usally these reports are quite useless but today we and all listeners learned about the the visit of the Magi to baby Jesus to bring their gifts to the newborn King.
Need [...]

The new workweek started great. That’s because God has made it. And I’m busy taking care of a lot of little things but just took a break for writing this.
First it is one more week to work before my vacation where my mom and I will go visit my brothers family in their new home [...]

OK, been at the unemployment office this morning, as I mentioned before it was a waste of time. But because God’s word says we should keep to the laws of the country it was in obedience to Him and therefore to His glory. God loves and blesses the obedient!
Next I met with the partner of [...]

I am glad it’s weekend again. Not because I don’t have to work, which actually was quite due to the fact that there is no more so much to deliver (check here why). For me the weekend means to do God’s work full-time. Not that I wouldn’t do that while working, but on the weekend [...]

Today I checked out all jobs advertisements for delivery driver. As I expected (from the fitter search) the vast majority of them are from Time work agencies who just lend their worker to companies. Because of German work laws this is a big business here as it releases companies from the obligation to hire workers steady. [...]

Here are briefly the latest developments on my job:
I’ll meet with my old boss on Monday. He is a believing Christian and has an agency for Employment-finding. He got me that delivery job 5 years ago.
Today we had a meeting at my present workplace where my bosses explained the situation to us. They stated that [...]

That will be most likely my last day as delivery driver for medical supplies.
Today my boss called me in his office to give me my cancelation. We sat together for a while and he explained to me that due to the “German healthcare reform” his business has shifted from a service oriented one to a shipping one. [...]

Well, I’m back in the weekend and am very thankful to God for the week. He didn’t let it turn out to be calm like it looked on Monday. I drove almost 1000 mls and had my truck full each day.
But I am especially thankful to help a family with their needs for their baby [...]
