As promised here an update on me becoming self employed. It actually is a longer story but here in short:
While working on construction I spent 12 – 14 hours a day out there and although I love construction work God had another plan. The idea to become self employed was put on my heart over a year [...]

Just because it is a lot of fun and because we mostly install solar panels on farm roofs here some pics of me on top a farm building in northern Germany. It is quite interesting to see that those people, who’s business depends, since ancient times, for a great portion on the weather God provides, are [...]

Today, as my mom and I were on the road driving to visit my brother’s family we heard on the radio a report of the German Evangelical church. Usally these reports are quite useless but today we and all listeners learned about the the visit of the Magi to baby Jesus to bring their gifts to the newborn King.
Need [...]

The new workweek started great. That’s because God has made it. And I’m busy taking care of a lot of little things but just took a break for writing this.
First it is one more week to work before my vacation where my mom and I will go visit my brothers family in their new home [...]

OK, been at the unemployment office this morning, as I mentioned before it was a waste of time. But because God’s word says we should keep to the laws of the country it was in obedience to Him and therefore to His glory. God loves and blesses the obedient!
Next I met with the partner of [...]

God is good, He opens doors and puts things in my heart and leads me in His loving and caring ways.
I talked with my boss today about getting self-employed as trader. Of course he knows a lot about that and gave me some valuable tips. I had thought about this a few times before, to [...]

Today they talked all day about the begin of the fasting season on the radio. Fasting season? Yes you read right! Here in Germany, as in most West European countries, keeping traditions is more important than to have a personal relationship with God. It is so sad that people believe, because they have been taught [...]

Today I checked out all jobs advertisements for delivery driver. As I expected (from the fitter search) the vast majority of them are from Time work agencies who just lend their worker to companies. Because of German work laws this is a big business here as it releases companies from the obligation to hire workers steady. [...]

I took tomorrow a day off so I have time to check for more jobs. Especially to make phone calls or even apply personally if needed. I might even meet with my former boss at his employment- finding office. He has two job opportunities for me already and is about to make some more connections. I [...]
